Now Zion group of schools has a strength of oer 12,000 students. The school has a sprawling campus with a seperate building for the Kindergarden, adjacent to the high school in Zion avenue, Indira Nagar and the Primary and Higher secondary buildings are situated at Natraj Nagar MOTTO OF THE SCHOOL "Learn to Lead" is the motto of the school. The lighted torch in the hand, beside the open book, in the School logo indicates Zion's untiring effort. Many of our students have been enrolled in Anna University, NTS, MIT, Medical Colleges, defense services as officers and some are abroad with their unquenchable thirst for intellectual excellence. COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS The school regularly conducts coaching classes for the Science Olympiad Examination, Mathematics Olympiad Examination, Geography Talent Test, National Talent Search Examination conducted by the NCERT and General Knowledge test in collaboration with globally renowned organizations, in order to enhance subject knowledge. Beside, the school arranges coaching class for IIT and AIEEE for Engineering and Medical entrance for the aspiring students of the higher secondary. Highly qualified and experienced faculty conduct these coaching classes. Also, we have tied up with an Australian University under the scheme "International Assessment of Indian Schools" to assess and compare the academic level and IQ of our students with respect to their counterparts anywhere in the globe. IMPROVISATION IN TEACHING & LEARNING METHODOLOGY The untapped potentials of the children are brought out through a series of activity based continuous internal assessment tests. Project work, group discussion, quiz on different subjects help the students to acquire sound knowledge and proper understanding of what they have learnt. CURRICULAM Classes from LKG to XII std and follows Matriculation Syllabus till std X and the State Board syllabus in the Higher Secondary. The curriculum is so designed as to develop the overall personality of the students. LOCATION OF THE SCHOOLS The School is located in the outskirts of Tambaram, Chennai - South India and can be easily reached from Tambaram Railway Station in about 10 minutes.
